Mark Fernandes, M.Sc., RMFT, CSFT
Mark has been working in the field of Children's Mental Health for the past 10 years as a Family Therapist. Though he was trained as a couple and family therapist, he worked for a number of years within the youth justice system as a counselor with at-risk youth. About five years ago Mark made a shift back into family therapy where he began re-discovering his roots in what he calls his "SFT homecoming". Since then he has also done private work in his community and engaged in clinical supervision of students.
More recently Mark achieved certification as a Certified Solution Focused Therapist with the CCPC and has also nearly completed his accreditation as an approved supervisor in the AAMFT.
He has presented at a number of conferences alongside his colleagues Geri and Dina having presented a number of posters as well as their most recent workshop entitled, "The School of Hope; What's So Wrong With Suffering?"
